Hi

I'm looking for a alternative to my actual Tarot T-2D gimbal. I use it for a while now and could never get it working perfectly. I tried different settings but none gave me a solid performance. Today it was a bit windy and as you see, my gimbal startet shaking and vibrating...

I uploaded a video to let you see what I mean:

I also uploaded my log here:

as far as I see, my copter does not have massive vibration or other problems.

I've also added a pic to let you see how the camera is mounted.

Any suggestions what I could do to get stable videos? Any suggestions for an alternative, maybe 3axis, gimbal?

Greets from Switzerland

Marcel

  • A few weeks ago two 3axis gimbals were released in the market.

So there are little information about these products. Check these comments out: http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/3-axis-gimbal-for-iris-looking-fo...

  • Did you try different dampeners?

  • i have tried literally all 3-axis gimbals out there and the only one I have kept is the Wakera 3-axis G3-D, virtually worked out the box with the least vibration prone problems and very little tuning.....its also light compared to others....the Storm32 controller is also very good if you decide to go that route....
