Getting an error when clicking on configuration button in APM planner

My APM connects to arupilot mega board but sometime after connecting when I click on the configuration tab in mission planner, I get a dialog pop-up which says you're missing some dll's. please extract the zip file somewhere or use the update feature from the menu. I have the latest mission planner installed on my wondows XP running desktop, but I am trying to run the arducopter v 2_1_1_r6 +JLN mode to simulate it with xplane, and I am still not getting it right. 

Please help!!

the latest plannre is 1.1.83. 1.1.82 had a problem

Yes I updated but it again happens. Also I cannot get the arducopter fly, I don't know why, I have tried doing everything as given (http://code.google.com/p/ardupilotdev/wiki/ArduCopter) the signals are being received by xplane(as I can see in the network and connections menu of xplane)but just as soon as I connect the APM , the throttle becomes zero and it finally crashes... can't figure out why. 

Any suggestions please...

This is the screenshot.. I keep getting it when connecting the APM planner to the board, and its intermittent, all that I could do is close it all and restart.. please help!

can you please upload ardupilotplanner.log. in your planner directory

the log is the right one, but idealy i need it just after the error occurs, as the log you gave me just shows uploading a firmware.
