Gimbal Powering Confusion....

Ok, so after a few posts and reading around, the impression im getting is basically, it is unsafe to power the camera gimbal servos from the APM at all.... for fear of brownouts?

So whats the best options here? External power source for the gimbal servos?

Any help much appreciated!

    So right now, im powering the gimbal servos off output 7 and 8 and just the signals to the A10 and A11.

    Is this safe? also i have the jumper connected still. Is this setup safe to fly, planning on flying tommorow
