All I want to do is feed GPS data to my ground station. I have the 3DR Telemetry Kit and the MediaTek 3329 GPS. The GPS is set to output binary protocol.
I have the radios talking and have the GPS wired directly into the air radio. Should I be able to view my GPS feed in APM Planner? I can see my 3DR radio settings in APM P under the 3DR tab / load settings. However, I am unable to connect through Flight Planner. I have the correct COM port selected, baud set to 57600 but no luck.
Thanks for any help

Permalink Reply by Elvis on July 3, 2012 at 8:55pm Thanks for the reply John. I think your are correct in needing the board to work with APM. I did eventually get it working with Google Earth, just had to get all of my baud rates to match and then it started populating in GE. I assumed that they would match from the factory since they are sold by the same company to work together? 3DR help seemed to confuse me more than help me... if they answered at all.
