Good afternoon folks,

I'm new to the site, and UAVs in general, and so I was hoping I could get a bit of help in understanding GPS.

I've been assigned to write a quick tutorial on GPS testing, but I don't know where to begin. Essentially, if someone could give me a bit of info (or a link) on how to carry out:

- GPS testing and signal acquisition
- Parsing and decoding
- Logging, plotting, and additional parameters (# sats, time, and NMEA)

It would make life easy. Anything else that's cool and related would be very much appreciated too!

You guys are great, thanks in advance!
