(Help) AMP2 problem

Hi everyone, I have some problem with my AMP2:

1. After I setup my new AMP2 step by step with instruction in code.google.com it running. But I found if I move any Rx stick quicker the AMP2 auto dis arm, motors still rotate, AMP2 arm led still on but cannot re arm or dis arm or do anything. I swich it off and on, it back to normal, arm and put throttle stick about 30%-40% (without propeller for safe) and hold my hexa by hand, move it forward, backward, left, right...if I move it very slowly, it ok, AMP2 auto adjust power of motors to stabilize, but if I move my hexa faster, the AMP2 auto dis arm and freeze again like when I move Rx stick quicker.

2. When I setup my AMP2 flight mode, I didn't see manual flight in flight mode list. It have many flight mode like stabilize, RTL, Loiter...but not have manual flight mode.
 How do I find manual flight mode? My AMP planer version is 1.1.96

Pls check after initial setup if you changed on your radio travel adjust or endpoint settins.

After setup I didn't change any thing in Radio. My radio is DX6i. Is this problem because PID setting?

No manual mode for multicopters. APM control is required to mix the rc inputs for multicopter control. (what you may be looking for is Acro mode)

Thanks you, so which normal flight mode should be? Stabilize or Acro mode?

Stabilize mode will keep it level. I find this to be the best mode to start in.

It is also good to use to recover from a user-error.

Nobody can tell me how to solve my AMP2 problem ? I still cannot flight with it :((.

It sounds to me that you are having a power issue, when the motors load up the power to the APM is dropping out.

Is the battery fully charged?

Do you have a volt meter to watch the voltage to the APM when the motors load up?

I am no APM expert, but I'll try to help you sort this out :-)

My battery is full charged and when I test 2 batteries parallel the same problem. My AMP2 board power by include 5v board, not use 5v power from ESC. Few week ago when I connect all motors spin normal it's ok but when I connect reverse 3 motors (3 CW & 3 CCW) it problem.

Are you saying that the APM disarms its self but the motors still spin? "auto dis arm, motors still rotate".

Can you post a video of the issue so it is easier for everyone to understand what is happening?

Have you tried watching the Tx inputs from Mission Planner while the issue happens?

Are you able to get logs off the APM with Mission Planner and post them?

Can I connect battery when USB connected to AMP2 board for watching AMP planer while the issue happens? I never do that before, if it ok I think I can watching what appear in the AMP planer whilt the issue happens.

I have not found a solid answer to powering with the USB "in-flight", I started a thread with the question days ago, but no answer.

I have been testing my board with USB plugged in and power from my heli going to the input side of the APM 2.0 without problems. So to ME the answer is yes. For you it is still a risk until someone from 3Drobotics says it is Ok.

It still sounds like a power issue to me, do you have a volt meter and some extra servo leads to test with? If I were diagnosing this problem I would make a servo cable to plug into the input side of the APM and my meter to watch the 5.0v when spinning up the motors. An alternative would be to remove the "power jumper" on the APM board and make a battery pack to power the APM from the input pins. 3 AA batteries in series worked well for me, I was having GPS issues that came from too high a voltage at the APM (the voltage tolerance is much closer to 5.0v +/- 0.2 or 4.8v to 5.2v).
