Help analogue video transmission vs digital video transmission??

Hi,

I want to transmit thermal video live over 2 km. The resolution of the video is 640 x 512 pixel. Should I use a analogue transmitter or digital transmitter?? Can you recommend me the best video transmitter out there?? Transmitter's price is not a problem. 

What is the advantage of using DJI light-bridge or Connex HD link??? Can I get the same quality using a 5.8Ghz immersionRC 600mW transmitter??

    Hi Shebin,

    We have just received our Connex Unit. Support is non-existent. I would go DJI if you have the choice.

    Hello,

    I am not sure you can get that resolution from a analog 5.8ghz tx and analog camera .you can go HD but the cost is $1000+

    OG, Is there any problem transmitting 640 x 512 pixel video through analogue transmitter which is limited as you said 480x720??? Can you please recommend me a best video transmitter of 5.8Ghz? Is there any other solutions I should consider???

    Hello,

    no you can not get the same quality video from 5.8Ghz, it is analog , max 480x720 ,  systems DJI light bridge is HD video digital 1080P 4k & transmit PWM . the cost is a big difference.

    What country you are in?

    Knowing the regulations on frequency and transmit power will limit what equipment you can purchase; unless - "price is not a problem" -  you can fund lobbying in your country to change the above regulations.
