Help! Second board that I receive appears defective :(

I have been trying to setup my quad for a few months now, delayed hugely by the first board I received pre-assembled which was defective: no radio signal was coming in.

I have just received my replacement board but with only the usb cable plugged in the board gets hot (past 40C, will measure later today) but does not appear normal in any way. The board connects just fine to AMP and can get into CLI setup but when I run setup > radio the board crashes. Is there any way all this is normal or easily fixable ? I'd hate to spend again to return for repairs and wait for replacement board all over again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That definitely sounds like you've got a short somewhere. Where are you getting these boards from? If the DIY Drones store, we can send you a replacement ASAP, but I'd like to see the defective board to analyze it. I've never seen that problem before. You can PM me for an address.

Just maidened my hexa, new board works great :)

Thank you very much for excellent support !

PS:Old board is on its way
