Everyone always seems to be posting these google earth maps with their flight path displayed in 3d.
I managed to get a KMZ file from ardupilot and map it on google earth, but I cannot get it to display in 3d. It just shows a line.
I don't see any documentation on this. I've been googling it for ages now.

That looks like its for telemetry logs (don't have telemetry), but I'll play with it.
is this for arducopter or arduplane?
also you havnt mentioned what firmware version

I was able to get the 3d view I was looking for in Earth by changing some settings (the altitudes were AGL, not MSL, so I had to adjust them by the ground elevation.)
