A couple of versions back there was a tab to level the plane in setup. The only thing I can find now is a tab to level a quadcopter. Is this what is used to level the plane?

No need. It's done at startup at the field.
Tridge, has implemetmed the same level feature on arduplane, i did have a tab but appear to have misplaced it, i will re add it.
To be clear, that feature is designed for tail draggers and others that can't be calibrated easily in a horizontal position at the field

I have started it many times since then, without it being level at startup, and it defaults back to previous level. It is advantageous not to have to make sure the plane is level every time I change batteries.
Thanks for putting it back Michael, I wondered why it disappeared. Great feature.
Permalink Reply by BR928 on April 19, 2012 at 11:06am Michael, There have been several updates and I still do not see a tab for level calibration in arduplane. Do I just the the level tab for Arducopter? If so, it is just not very clear. That seems to work however.
sorry about that, i will add now.
