Hello all AP Fliers. I have to shoot a CABLE TRANSFOMER BAY from the air using my quad. The place looks very high risk due to EMF.  I want to shoot this from 1/2 km away. . I need advice and opinions. Thank you.

Depends if it's Bumblebee or Megatron. Michael's Bay Transformers are usually quite dangerous to fly near by (sorry, could not resist).

hahaha... you are a real help :)

:) Seriously tho Haidar, your quad should be fine within a 20+ meters distance. Judging with info from your pdf diagram, the facility uses 132Kv lines - far from the 400Kv+ that we see now. It's always difficult to account/calculate for the total EMF, especially when there are a lot of cable fields that interact with each other, if there are some separate cores or single cables (less emf for single cables). But I'm a noob, surely there are a lot more competent people around willing to answer you. Although don't you worry that much for your quad, those are exactly fitting the task to get in 'dangerous' zones! Just don't loose control. Good luck and dont forget the lightning striking the quad photos (kidding) :)
