I'm running the new code and all functions work and my quad seems pretty stable with initial settings.

 

The answer to my question may well be to wait for the official release which may have more functionality BUT ....

 

At the moment I can't see how to switch in to position hold or altitude hold and what about settings for camera stabalisation.

 

The only switchable setting seems to be for "mode" ....

 

Any one help or should I wait .

    use cli and then you will finde "mode" under "settings or setup" (don't remember).

    There you switch your 3-way switch that is connected to ch5 on your APM. You will see a change in cli response.
    By moving your right rc stick to the left/right you can choose one of the possible options:
