hey!
I'm hoping for some help here, I have a drone from hobby king, and I am trying to get it so that the V tail works, I have not had a chance to play around with this setup yet, the way it was set up from the factory is so they only work as elevators, which I find pathetic.. anyway how do I hook it up to the board and what do I need to do so it works properly, I know there is a switch on the oilpan I need to flip, but is that all?
Also I was wanting to get the Xbee setup so I can have the drone communicate with my laptop, but I can no longer find them on the DIYDRONES store, are they no longer selling them?
Thanks
George

For a V-tail, you must use an external mixer, as explained in the manual here.
We've moved from Xbees to the 3DR radios, which are cheaper and better. Should be coming back in stock this week.

Thank you very much
George
The range is about 1 mile
