Hi All,

Looking to have a space on DIYDrones where folks can talk about humanitarian applications of personal drones, like Euan Ramsay's recent blog post on using a quad to deliver Search & Rescue payloads:

http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/payloader-gets-its-first-field-test

My own (new) initiative in this space is the Humanitarian UAV Network (UAViators).

Some projects/resources I've come across (and in touch with):

http://www.openrelief.org

http://www.droneadventures.org

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/UAV

http://iRevolution.net/2014/03/18/grassroots-uavs-for-disaster-response

http://opencanada.org/features/the-think-tank/essays/the-case-for-humanitarian-drones

http://www.odihpn.org/humanitarian-exchange-magazine/issue-58/the-promise-and-perils-of-disaster-drones

Anyone else working at the intersection of drone tech and humanitarian response?

Thanks!
