Can you compile without the change in APM config?

If not, something is wrong were you have put the APM libs

No, I can't. I still get that same error. How/where are the libriaries meant to be placed?

I usually create a folder for each project/code setup.

Something like this:

ACM

--Arduino-022 

  --Libraries (copied from the Arducopter 2 Beta 1 libraries)1

--Arducopter 2 Beta 1

  -- ArducopterMega

  -- Libraries

--APM Mission Planner

 

It works for me like that.

I did manage to get it to compile, but I had to change the sketchbook location from the Arduino folder to the folder with ACM 2.0 in it. Strangly, ArduCopterMega was in the Arduino folder already,  but it did not seem able to find it.

Yea Kinda tricky I agree when it comes to up dating arduino with new AC2 firmware.  I like going to the trunk now and down loading just the files needed to update my AC2 firmware.  Lot easier that downloading the zip file and doing that mess everytime an update is released.
