Hello All, I had a faulty MPU-6000 Accelerometer... I decided to replace it with a new one I ordered from Digi-Key. MPU-6000
That being said, it was interesting to find out some stuff about the PCB Traces and Pin Configuration for the MPU on the APM2.5.
The RESEARCH...
The following is the PCB Traces as per the 3DR Open Source Schematic and I have noticed that 3 Traces/Pins are missing?
The Datasheet Mapping for MPU-6000 (with standard Pin Configuration)
The Schematic 3DR Open Source (With Pin 6 and 7 shown)
The MPU Custom PCB for mounting
The Damaged Board (had to replace a 0.1uF Cap also on top left)
The custom PCB with MPU mounted
The New Brain...
The Results....
Power on LED says alive...
Booting of other sensors works except the MPU-6000 based on Log screen of the Terminal Window via the USB Connection.
I am curious if the schematic and PCB Trace Layout are accurate. I already have my new APM2.6 Thanks to CanadaDrones (@Dany) but I wanted to fix this for testing purposes.
Please advise if anyone has any knowledge.
Kind Regards,
Pino.

Nothing, no interests.... unfortunate.... i guess this APM just sits in the box... can't really use it for parts.. oh well.
