Hi everyone,
At AirMap, we are gathering all of the low altitude airspace information important for drones and their operators and providing an accurate, up‐to‐date, dynamic dataset to the community in a variety of useful implementations. One simple implementation of AirMap’s information is already live in beta at www.airmap.io.
We'd like to work with someone or a small team within the developer community to integrate AirMap's highly accurate, up-to-date, and easy-to-use dynamic airspace layers into Mission Planner.
AirMap makes the following U.S. dataset available today:
● Airports and other landing facilities (heliports, seaplane bases, gliderports, etc.)
● Recreational and Commercial “Blanket COA” appropriate radii paired with airports and other landing facilities
● Controlled airspace (Class B, C, D, and E)
● Temporary Flight Restrictions
● Special Use Airspace (Restricted and Prohibited Areas)
● National Parks
● Hospitals
● Schools
● Powerplants
● Prisons
We will soon be adding global data in the same categories.
Please reach out to me if you'd be interested in helping out!
-Ben

what tile format are you using?
MP typically uses direct tile access.
Please post to Drones-Discuss. I can help with integrating your work into Mission Planner.
