No - Your board orientation should be over the front left arm not in between them - So it needs to rotate 45 deg to the left -

Please get some heavy gauge black wire.

All of that red stuff is gonna cause some serious sparks someday.  Don't ask me how I know...

Hey Guys could some one clarify this as their setup looks the same as the set up in this instruction for the X config.

http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/AC2_Radio  (page shows different orientations for APM based on + or X config)

 

On the same instruction page it shows the setup you describe (APM forward over leg 1) but only for the + config.

These posts are very old and apply only to the old code from the same time.

The wiki is correct, APM must always point forward.
