Issues with my Quadcopter *Please Help*

I have assembled a mainly generic quadcopter with custom main plates. The main design is off of a Dynam 550 kit but bigger plates to allow bigger battery space and more top plate mounted items. I have an APM 2.5 flight controller with AeroSky GPS and compass combo hooked up, along with a FlySky FS-R6B receiver. I have four Dynam Detrum 25A ESC's connected to four T-Motor MS2216 KV900 motors.

Here's where the problems come into play. I have motor control, but I have no yaw control or GPS lock. I believe I have everything set up the correct way and have everything downloaded that is necessary, and it still doesn't work.

To start with the lack of yaw movement, Mission Planner shows no yaw movement but if I go to my display on my FlySky FS-T6 transmitter, it shows channel 4 being yaw with full motion.

Then there's the GPS issue, I have it connected with what I believe as the correct cables, there two different ones that fit and I'm using the one that I saw in a video that worked.

I don't know what is going on, I thought I did everything right...?
