I've seen several different companies and hobbyists pull this off so far. The griff300 is capable of hauling 300lbs short distances for example so I know this is possible. They keep the specs on the motors for these vehicles pretty close to the vest however. I imagine its because theyre cheap, and revealing such info would invite the more able among us to replicate their rigs fairly easily. Ive spent the last few days attempting to work out what I would need, but the variables and space I need to move around in mentally is fairly vast. I was wondering if anyone here would be able to point me in the general area in terms of what type of motor and what wattage, rpm, and torque rating I would need.
