I am looking to lighten my overall flight load and increase efficiency on my plane.  I looking into various low current and low voltage actuators.  I spotted this on Sparkfun.  I am considering trying these out initially on a custom camera gimbal.  Just curious if there is anyone out there that has used these before?  The specs look promising, and the documentation for operation seems pretty thorough.  Any thoughts, or comments are welcomed.

With only a 4mm stroke and max load of 70g I dont see these being any good on a camera gimbal...

Speed it another thing, Shap wire isnt the fastest OR the most acurate.

I looked at these for a unrelated project but went a different route in the end.. ;)
