Linking arducopter to Futaba transmitter

Hey everyone

Im pretty noob at this and I just got my kit yesterday. I am using the Futaba T9CHP 9 channel remote transmitter to fly my quadrocopter but for some reason it does not respond.

I know there is a link between the receiver and transmitter because I used a separate servo to test it and it does respond.

Please help.

    Hello Dany,

Have you powered the RX on the quad while doing the setup? The servo rail on the APM has no connection for the powering of the RX when connected with USB, if you know from your tests that the RX / TX is working fine then the power would be my next on the list of checks to be made. The RX is powered from the Lipo via the PDB when connected, however be careful with this step as you should have no props connected! I always power the RX with a battery (5 volts) and leave the signal cables to the ESC's disconnected when doing the setup. This alllows the radio to function and the board to be powered from the USB, no power to ESC's or motors means fingers don't get damaged!!
