Could any body recommend current compact digital cameras that are able to output there live screen image so that it could be downloaded via video transmitter that has analogue av inputs. Currently I have a Canon 220hs with usb and mini hdmi outputs. I'm willing to purchase a new camera that is light and with good resolution. It doesn't seem possible with the Canon, but if any body knows any tricks that can be used to do it with current cameras or the best way forward that would be very helpful
Thanks
Chris

Anybody got any more ideas

Bummer if yours doesn't I guess. The ones I've used just swap the LCD image to the AV output and disable the built in screen.

Permalink Reply by Gisela & Joe Noci on August 12, 2012 at 2:27pm Hi, I use a Samsung NX200 - have used it with the 30mm pancake lense in full auto mode to to orthoimage photos - generating full contoured DTM's with 2cm ground resolution - very good camera for this. I have switched to using a Pentax 21mm manual focus lens instead - am concerned about the odd unfocussed image after 40minutes flying and 800 photos....
Has live Video O/P, HD Video mode, etc
