Long Endurance Agricultural Drone

Hello,

I would like to get some feed back on the design of drone I am working on:

Currently building the NAJA 2.2 M H TAIL. To get more acquainted with the PixHawk system and

Going to use the PixHawk Auto-pilot with the 433 Mhz option.

I have not decided over what engine: 20cc or 30-32 cc. Please recommend if you have experience with a similar platform.

The Drone will carry a NDVI camera for Agricultural analysis. The camera is a Canon SX 110 mounted on a brand less Chinese 3 axis gimbal. (I used to fly an Event38 drone but had constant yaw and roll problems while the camera was shooting). So thats why I opted to go up to the Naja 2.2 meter model.

THE GOAL:

Have 2 cameras onboard for NDVI and normal agricultural surveillance.

Want to replicate a Penguin drone by building 3.5 Meter drone.

1. The wings I have already built from EPS foam (144 Inch wingspan and 12 inch chord). Reinforced with CF wing tubes and CF spars.

2. The fuselage is going to be build using CF square tubing and thin CF sheets where I need to support weight, the rest will be wrapped. About 20 cm x 20 cm x 130-140 cm.

3. Haven't decided over either a 2 cylinder 40 CC/ 60 CC engine with fuel injection. PLEASE SUGGEST.

Still in an early stage but I am very motivated to build this drone. Hopefully I can get some suggestions so I can keep updating the thread with pictures and information regarding the work done on the drone.

Thank you,

RS
