Looking for a OctoCopter Assambly + Frame + Paid job
Hi Guys,
I just stepped in to this amazing world and fell completely in love with it. So I want one!
Now I have basic knowledge of soldering and I can program. However that doesn't help me when it comes to choosing the best components for actual in flight operations.
It eventually needs to hold an Red EPIC camera.
I have time and a budge but now..how to proceed?
I am looking for somebody that can provide a frame and help me assamble the parts.
The Octocopter that Marco Robustini created looks pretty ideal.
APM 2560
OilPAN IMU
Mediatek MT3329 GPS V1.6
XL-MaxSonar MB1200 (with active filter and "thermal mods", 4 x 10 ohm resistor around the case)
ESC HiModel Pro 30A, in high timing mode
Two switching BEC 6V 5A (connected to electronics through two diodes 3A, the tension output is 5.33V)
Motor TigerMotors MT2814 710 kv (mounted with 3° inclination for increase YAV control)
Props EPP 12x4.5 (too soft and flex, i'm waiting for APC 12x3.8)
Two-Way telemetry "Mikrokopter Wi232" (890 MHz)
Six led strip connected to APM (pins AN8<->AN13 through ULN2003), thanks to u4eake for the code
Lipo 4s2p 5000 mhA 40c
TX Futaba T12FG
RX Futaba R6008HS
Missing a frame + top protection
Of course I will pay for all parts and we have to agree on an assemble fee.

Thanks for having the Y6 as the Octo's aren't back in stock just yet!
Jeremy at ElectriFlite.co.uk was very pleased to talk to you and I hope he's been able to put together an RTF package!I'm currently updating the Assembly Guides for all products before I get swamped at the end of February when all the new stuff should be ready!

Yes great chat and thanks for putting the order so quickly together! I'm looking really forward to it!! If I get this thing up in the air I definitely wanna get my hands on that Octo frame!
Jeremy was also very helpful. Still waiting for a order list from him, but I am pretty sure that I'll get that sorted soon.
Good luck with the Assembly Guides. I really think I can use one! haha.

Have a look at this beast that i was fortunate to see, custom made by Gunter and Martin, if you are after a hexa might be worth giving martin a call, i suspect it would be a lot of money though.
Oh i dont work for them, i fly traditional heli's :)
