My compass has East and West swapped which I suspect is because the AC2 code expects the compass to be component side down and soldered to the pins on the IMU

I have noticed the AC2 code and CLI doesn't seem to allow you to set the orientation of the mag.

In NG you edited a line in config.h defining the mag orientation.

My compass has the wire mounting option with components up.

Have I missed something somewhere that allows you to define orientation?

Thanks for any help

Hi,
You have to set orientation in the APM_config.h if you don't want to use the default orientation. Because you need to set it in the header file, you must use the Arduino GUI to load the software.

If you are set on using the AMP, just mount the magneto as the software expects it to be. Double-side tape it upside-down someplace and be done.
