Mavlink Doesn't Connect

Hi there,

I can’t get the APM Planner 1.2.90 to connect via the MAVLink all weekend. I’m running APM V3.1 firmware. Running Windows 7 64 bit.

I am pretty new at working with octocopters and the ArduPilot software.  A couple days ago, I was able to connect to my ArduPilot completely fine (though I never was able to connect with the transmitter.  Now when I try to connect with exactly the same setup, the connection times out  I have had multiple other times where the connection just fails, and doesn't even go to timeout Bulbs light up TX  and A.  Is there anything I need to do?  I've installed the mission planner software several times and have installed the firmware many times.  I don't know how to continue troubleshooting this.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I'm having a heck of a time with this. Thanks for your help.

    @slava,

    Have you tried using the CLI in the Terminal Mode? Sometimes an erase and reset in the Terminal Mode will cure a balky MavLink connection.
