Hello everyone,
I have a quest to compare to analogous flights - HIL simulation (on XPlane and Mission Planner) and real flight. I have .log files of them and would like to measure the precision of each flight. Do you have any suggestions how to do it?
One idea I have is to measure lowest distances from waypoints (in order to sum a distances from waypoints that plane missed). The problem is that I cannot really find the "variables" in the .log, that could show me the coordinates of planned path and executed path so that I could compare them (that's maybe because I'm totally new in it).
Did anyone of you try anything similar and/or have ideas how to solve this interesting problem?
