I've recently got the Android MK802 IV TV stick.

A Linux operating system has been adapted and functions perfectly on the device making it a mini computer capable of running the normal type application we my require on a drone.

However installing the Linux operating system is proving very tricky. I would like this topic to cover the basic and easiest way to go about installing.

After the installations are complete I would also like to try get a micro controller with processing running on the MK802 iv.

Note that the MK802 iv now comes with the option of Linux installed.

  • unfortunately the programmes I need to run on the MK802iv won't run on the ARM processor. I tried to make an application for them but that only put me further back.

I know that for the guys with the smaller UAV projects its vital that they get this device working for real time control over 3G.

There are many ways to get it working but I don't have time. If you interested in getting programmes to run on it let me know and I will help.
