Motor 1 spins slow, and sometime back and forth

Hi,

This is my first quad and I'm very frustrated that I'm unable to fly it.

I configure it with the mission planner wizard.

When I arm the quad the props start to spin, but some of them are slowly. then If I raise the throttle a little, the props spin OK except for motor one that sometimes spin OK and sometimes slow, or back and forth.

Sometimes If the motor starts spinning OK, after 3-10 seconds it stop again and the quad spin and fall.

I tried to switch between the motors and that did not help.

I switch the ESC and same problem.

I do not know what to do next, I think maybe the problem is with the pixhawk.

I'm attaching:

1. log file from yesterday.

2. video of the problem from today: video

Quad details:

  • Q450 V3
  • Pixhawk (clone) PX4 2.4.8 Flight Controller 32 Bit ARM PX4FMU PX4IO
  • DYS SN20A Mini 20A SimonK ESC OPTO 2-4S
  • Emax MT2213 935KV Brushless Motor
  • Flysky FS-i6 transmitter & FlySky FS-iA6B Receiver 6CH 2.4G AFHDS 2A Telemetry Receiver
  • 3S battery and 10 inch props

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Maybe I need to configure some params?

Thanks in advance

  • I found the problem now, two of my ESC (the ones that I switch between are defect).

I connected each of the 4 ESC + 1 spare to RPI and let it spin the motor, after some seconds the motor start spinning back and forth.

Do I need to flash or configure each ESC? I only did calibration of the four ESC using the transmitter.

  • I replaced the ESC cable, and connected ESC of motor 1 to pixhawk port 2 and now the motor spins ok.

So the problem is defiantly with the pixhawk port 1, or should I configure something for port 1 in pixhawk

  • Thanks for your reply.

I think that the pixhawk is defective, but before I send it back to bangood. I want to be sure that the problem is with the pixhawk.

Does the log shows defective hardware and problems like this?

  • Bad winding or internal connection, winding direction, magnet positions, or can be damaged, regardless, its defective.
