motor issues

Ok I have finally completed my quad and i have an issue, the right rear motor is spinning slower than the rest no matter what i do. I have replaced the esc and motor, re-installed firmware and tried older versions, checked all of my connections. when i do try to take off it tries to flip backwards. when i throttle up with no props it looks like the motor is twitching and it makes a very faint clunking noise(i have tried three different motors they all do the same thing.) i have calibrated the esc's many times. also i don't know what this means but the problem motor is drawing more current then the rest at slow speed with props off. I have also re soldered everything just in case.
hopefully someone can help with some advice. Thanks in advance.

  • I had an issue with a motor from 3dr. I took a video of it, posted it to YouTube and sent 3dr the link to help me diagnose the issue. You could do something similar. If you post the link to the video of the behaviour you are experiencing someone might recognise the fault.
    • i will take a video tomorrow if i can get home, if not  then friday, any idea on the higher current draw? maybe its nothing i just thought it was strange.

  • i have tried 3 different motors and 2 different escs, (i ordered extras)

no its not stiff at all...i am very confused.

  • Is the motor stiff at all?

Could the esc be bad / missing a phase? Try a different motor in place.
