Motors beeping and not moving - HELP

Hi all! I'm working on a quadcopter for the first time and I've run into a few issues in getting this thing working.

FC: NAZA M Lite

RX: AR610

TX: Dx6i

ESCs: Lumenier SimonK 30A

Motors: Turnigy 620kv

I have my ESCs soldered to a power distribution board, and am currently just trying to get any one of the ESCs properly calibrated so that I can check that my connections are good by making one of the motors spin. To do this, I've been plugging my ESC directly into my receiver (bypassing NAZA for now), inserting the bind plug, and connecting the receiver to power. I followed the binding instructions for the Dx6i, and the amber light on the receiver becomes solid (which supposedly indicates a successful bind). I then removed power from the ESC and receiver and took out the bind plug. I then switch my Dx6i to the full throttle position and reattach the battery. The ESC plays a powering-on song, followed by a single beep. After hearing this beep, I moved to low throttle followed by another beep. I thought that this sequence indicated a successful calibration? But then when I attempt to move the throttle switch up, there is no response from the motors. When I unplug and re-attach the drone's battery again, all that I hear is beeping from the motor every 2-3 seconds.

I checked the ESC to motor connection with a volt meter, and the connection appears to be good.

Has anyone run into a similar issue or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks!
