hi guys, today i was doing a little bit of hovering in side, when it just randomly flipped over, i couldn't disarm the motors, i think it has done this once before in a previous release, im using the 2.4.1 release, i checked the battery voltage and i had about 22% battery left, it was the same voltage when it fliped before, this time when it flipped it was very aggersive, is there a bug in the software that would cause this
cheers glen

Did it flip backwards or sideways? The log doesn't show much in the way of a flip, just an aggressive pitch change just after an aggressive pitch input towards the end of the log, did it crash land and stay still?
Permalink Reply by wraith on March 1, 2012 at 12:05pm at a guess it went side ways, it happened so fast, to the the right, i mean looking from the back of the quad it flipped clockwise, motor 2 and three went in an upward direction
Permalink Reply by wraith on March 5, 2012 at 12:02pm just thought i would do an update on this problem, after putting new blades on the quad i thought i would take it for a fly, it flying ok til i gave it a bit of yaw, after giving it small amounts of yaw i noticed something weird , the blades would make horrible noise, then the more yaw i let the sticks go and it would tilt side ways

Hi Glen,
Sounds an awful lot like junk props- Either way too flexible or severely out of balance. It is possible that you have a bent motor shaft...
Permalink Reply by wraith on March 5, 2012 at 1:49pm these props are apc slow fly, ive all ways used these with no problems, but they do sound like they are flexing to much, would a screwed motor cause the sudden pitching to the right, i say this cause , when i decided to fly it thrid time 1 motor wouldnt even fire, cant rembember which 1
