Hello all.. My name is Tom, and I'm new to DYI Drones, but not so new in the Drone arena, having owned 3 so far...
I am in need of some good advice on my newest build. She is 1265 mm. Now before I go further, I must say that I am NOT willing to decrease this baby in size...She is meant to be a "monument" to my Pop, who passed away just before Easter... That being said, I am wanting to put the most "bells and whistles" on it as I can. Right now, she weighs around 2 Lbs as she sits.So here's what I'd like to know..
Recommendations for:
1. Motor/Prop combination
2. ESC
3. Flight Control with complete telemetry
4. Camera recommendation (must be able to fit inside the Electronics housing)
5. FPV gear
6. Batteries.
And any other "gizmo" you can think that would make this a sight to be seen.
I have attached pics of the finished airframe, and hope I can get some good advice on parts. I'll repost more pics as I progress with her, and finally the maiden flight video.
