New here. Please help.

Hello, I've gotten through the setup for my quadrotor and I seem to be having trouble getting the motors to actually spin.

I built my quadrotor using the ARTF DJI F450 kit with a the 2.6 APM. I did some research and it appears I need a BEC in order to supply power to the "output" side of the APM (since the OPTO ESCs that came with the kit do not have built in BECs)?

Is this correct?

If so, what additional things do I need? I'm ordering a BEC (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MXAR12/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) for now, but do I also need any additional cables/wires as well(I'm really not sure)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
