U can get a 9v battery to barrel connector from you local electronics shop or use a 2 or 3s battery

Hi Hai,

I already have a barrel connector for a 9v, and upon connecting it and adjusting the pots I get the power led light and black blocks on the lcd, I just wanted to verify if this is what expected from an ardustation with no program uploaded (still waiting for the ftdi cable) and no xbee (still waiting for that too) connected.

Sounds normal if u haven't uploaded the code and your contrast is set too high.
