Hi..
Anyone can guide me how to convert the protocol (compressed binary) to NMEA
for MTK GPS3329 ?
because i want to use this GPS for other project which use NMEA
protocol.. is there any tools for easy configuration?
Look at the MTK3229 datasheet/manual for the command to send to tell the GPS to send output in NMEA instead of Binary. This particular chip of yours may be the DIY Drones one and I don't know if it can output NMEA or not. I know that the Locosys MTK3229 boards do as well as any other "vanilla" MTK3229.
From the DIY Drones MTK3229 product page:
"Note that the new MediaTek has custom and exclusive "DIYDrones" firmware that allows the unit to output an efficient and very compressed binary protocol (This firmware will only work with our modules!). You can still change between NMEA and Binary protocol with standard MTK messages"
