Is it possible for the APM to perform Orbit Mode like the AutoQuad. I found it really useful especially for AP/Video to do a 360 around the point of interest while keeping camera pointed to it. Is there any source code for it?

I believe that's what "Circle" does. Although mine's in a plane and circle doesn't work for planes. :)

Thanks Eddie, will try the CIRCLE mode soon

Any luck using circle mode for 360 rotation?

What radius do you use? Is the loiter radius or a separate radius? What is the parameter name?

And what is the best speed you did find? Speed parameter name?

I believe my answer below is not referring to Orbit mode, just 360 loiter.

I am interested to have also details about Orbit, if you have,

This is the result of my Circle Mode. Start from minute 6.00 of these video .It performed a very smooth low alt Circle/Orbit.Set Wp Radius to 10m.
