Pause a Mission

Hello to everybody,

Is it possible with mission planner to pause a mission at run time?!

I have a hexacopter with APM 2.5 (AC ver 3.0.1) programmed to fly over a testing area with Mission Planner (ver 1.3.7). The idea is plan an auto mode mission with 10-15 waypoints and look the live video while the copter in air. Should any anomaly result in the aera, I would like to pause the mission (e.g. Switching to Loiter or Circle mode to inspect the anomaly) and then keep the mission from the last waypoint reached. If I do this action (switch from AUTO to LOITER and back to AUTO again) the copter will obviously restart from the very fist waypoint its mission.

Is there any way to restart from the last waypoint reached?

Thanks for your help.

Alberto

If you restart a mission it starts at the beginning. You can load another mission with telemetry and start that new mission. You can also with mission planner tell your craft to fly to a point on your map, which allows you to fly a manual flight, 1 waypoint at a time. Again you need telemetry to make this work.
    • Hi Richard,

what about setting up WP_NAV from 500 (5 m/sec) to 0  with CH6 knob and afterwards put i back to 500 ? Never tried to set up waypoint navigation speed on a value close to 0 m/sec.
