Hello,

I am very new to the RC world and have currently bought a DJI F450 kit, with the Naza FC, and need to buy a device so that I can use a Joystick as my flight contoller ...I have narrowed it down to the PCTx with the Spectrum DX6i Transmitter/recevier system(which I still have yet to puchase) and wondered if anyone here has a similar set up, or knows of a more direct set up (meaning using just a Joystick to transmitter set up minus having to lug a laptop for each flight)

I have however come across a set up called "ForceFly" where there is a mini data screen (considered to be the brain) connected to the Joystick at one end and the transmitter at the other but, I haven't seen any reviews on how successful that set up is, compared to the PCTx.  If anyone here has any suggestions as to the most accurate direct system using minimal items connected to the joystick I would be very grateful.
