Perhaps one of the biggest complaints I have heard over the years was the upgrading of drones. It seems every time there is a new upgrade, one model gets discontinued. The same is true with the Phantom 3 Series that DJI has out. Personally, I really enjoyed the Phantom 3 Advanced and Phantom 3 Professional. These are drones that I cut my teeth on and gained my confidence as a pilot. The Phantom 3 Standard, I heard mixed reviews on but at the same time, it too had more to offer then other drones at its price. It may be that DJI heard all of our mixed rumblings about them discontinuing those models. So, with some surprise, they released a newer version of the Phantom 3, the Phantom 3 SE. This is what I was able to find out on this drone.
