pixfalcon doesn't power up anymore

I am having an issue with my new pixfalcon. I connected everything, plugged the usb to the computer, calibrated everything. Seems to work fine. Trying to test the motors (6x DJI E800 incl. ESCs), QGroundStation tells me, that I can’t start the motors with USB connected. So I unplug USB and arm it. The motors start. I realize that all spin in the same direction. So I switch some ESC-cables, restart the copter from the battery – and: pixfalcon doesn’t start anymore. Only the ESCs power up. pixfalcon has no problem starting with USB-power. But not powered solely from the 4s battery.
I thought that maybe the power-board is broken, but strangely, if I plug USB AND the battery, pixfalcon indicates the battery-voltage in QGroundStation.

Does anyone have an idea, what could be wrong?

  • Thanks James, you were right. There is no power out from the power module. Is this usual, that a brand new board blows at the first attempt? It's not leaving much confidence to this system...
