Pixhawk battery startup issue

When connected to mission planner by usb my hexacopter tests fine, I can even start it up using the radio. When I disconnect from mission planner and go out to fly the drone gets gps lock the light on the Pixhawk fc starts flashing yellow. I have been at a loss, I've re calibrated the gps 20 times, tried a new gps, results are the same. I'm new at this, about 6 months, and I can't seem to get this error sorted out. Has anyone had this issue? Can someone point me in the right direction to resolve the problem. Thanks, hope I posted in the right plaxe.

  • Failsafe is enabled, I have tried it with the battery connected and works fine while connected to the USB, when USB disconnected the battery fail safe buzzer goes off and as you know you can't arm the drone, nor would you want to. I need any help I can get at this point. I did have a guy tell me it's my radio? Is that possible: Devo10?

    • Your a bit short on details.

When the battery is connected and you are connected via USB, what battery voltage do you see reported?
What voltage do have set as the battery failsafe voltage?

Can you post a log file please?

      • Battery voltage in mission planner is all over the place, never did work, tried on many occasions to correct that but since it never interfered with flight it wasn't an issue. Battery voltage tested by meter and charger is 16.8V on a 10000mah battery. Failsafe voltage is set at 13.8V in mission planner. I get between 25 and 28 minutes flying time consistently and never an issue with battery. I hope these are the log file you need, As I said I'm new to this and I realize how difficult it is help someone new. Thank you for all your help, I really want to get back to flying.

        • Where did the log come from?
I can't do anything with it.

          • I went to program files, mission planner, scrolled down to the most current file. I followed the directions I found online. I made a copy of the auto analyze file, though I don't think that helps. I will attempt to send another file. If there is something I am supposed to do to the file first, please let me know.

            • Thanks for your help, fixed the issue.

  • Have you checked the logs?

Do you have a battery failsafe enabled?

Have you connected to USB while powered with a battery?
