I have APM 2.  I had a crash and the board seems fine, when I plug in the USB to my computer, everything lights up and I can access Mission Planner.  Keeping the USB in, if I plug in my lipo, I can arm the motors, and throttle up (motors spin normally).  However, as soon as I unplug the USB from my computer (the lipo is still plugged in) the board goes dark, I cannot arm my motors, nothing happens.  I just hear the beeps from my motors repeatedly.  I checked all my wiring and everything is in perfect order.  The jumper pin is in on the board to allow power from the ouput pins. What's happening?

Check the soldering on the output pins, sounds like the 5v from the esc isn't getting to the board and as the servo connectors do stick up a bit perhaps one got hit too hard in the crash ?

Terry,

I checked and the soldering looks good. What else should I check?

No idea to be honest, I've only had my APM2 for a couple of days myself, not too many answers here really

Terry,

Thanks for trying.  If you think of anything else please let me know.
