Hello everyone i'm Sudhir from india , currently persuing my B.E Mechanical Engineering final year . In 1 month i have to give my project details and have to get a green signal from them to begin my work !
I Always wanted to do some work using UAV's and i want to built it on my own .
So it would be great if u people could help me
My projects details :
Purpose of the UAV : Take aerial footage of roads with potholes and then feed the footage in to computer software and processing it into a 2D/3D maps and also gather intel about the potholes dimensions ( volume,length,breath,dia)
what i have researcher about the software are the technology to use for gathering the dimensions / rendering 2d/3d maps from footage is ,
Using 3D POINT CLOUD, PIX4D MAPPER WHICH USE RAY CLOUD !
The problem is that i dont know anything about 3d point cloud and pix4d mapper is very costlier
i dont know what to do now ?
please find me solution
