Problem with vertical takeoff

I would like to ask what the possible problem would be when the quad does not take off vertically?

It tends to yaw and roll when I slowly increase the throttle and when I do not counteract the movements, it would tip and fall. I have been able to make it fly, but only after counteracting the movements and increasing the throttle until it is in the air. When it is, it is quite stable. Would the problem be with the mounting of the Pixhawk on the frame? Currently I would still need to replace the propellers since the frame was given having different types of propellers as it was a used quad. Would it be safe to assume that after replacing the propellers with a uniform set, that the problem would be gone?
