Hello!
I don't understand. I have 2 Ardupilot Mega (V1.4 and old version) with a strange problem.
The V1.4 doesn't have any reaction (blue led off) when I power up the board plugged on my receiver, however the receiver get power from the board....
The old version has the blue led alternatively blinking but I don't have reaction on my mission planner. I tried to connect two receivers on it but nothing happens.
I tried to flash the encoders with my AVR programmer and with the V1.4, the flashing process worked but with the old one it is impossible to make it .... and the two problems remain ...
Do you have some ideas?
Thanks

Exactly how are you powering the 1.4 board?
I use an external 6V plugged on the APM (pin headers) and USB for the Mission Planner.

Which pin headers? And is the 6v going through a power regulator to bring it down to 5V?
No, I use a modified Nokia charger to give 5.7V to the next header row beside the +/- receiver normal connection.

Can you try a regular LiPo/ESC combo plugged into Output 3, as shown in the manual? I suspect that power is your problem, and I have no way to replicate your Nokia charger setup.
No reactions, blue led off. I used an esc to power the board on the Output 3.

Sorry, can't help further from a distance. Please contact the store you bought it from for a RMA.
