I am using a eflite park 480 1100kva and a apc 9x7.5e  prop with a 3s 2200 lipo and get 25 min+ flight. nitroplanes video mentions it for about 2 seconds.

What do you use your predator for?  Do you have any pictures of your setup?  And do you see the ability to use a engine to power this bad boy?

Hi. Where did you but this? I am also looking for to equipt my projet mq-9 whit motor, esc and propeller, but i dont know where to buy or what...

I will use it for fpv with eagletree system osd and data recorder.

just got it and just have a few flights to get used to how it handels, built as per directions no mods.

I have put a E-Flite Power 46 Brushless Outrunner Motor on mine. Haven't flown it yet, but I am hoping it can handle it. FYI - It fits perfectly in the airframe.

I just placed a order for a new Projet MQ-9 Reaper 98" and would like some feedback on what parts should I get for it as for as the size servos, motor, esc, etc? and anything else that you'll can assist me with on this build.. Thanks

I gotta say, I like what you're doing with your Reaper. I just started mine last week and I saw your reply in this thread. I actually bought just about everything you have there. Don't worry... I won't hold you to this design... :-)

I see your using the E-Flite 46 Outrunner so I did the same. My only problem right now is how to mount the outrunner in the Reaper. It looks like this motor needs to be an inrunner to mount inside. Did you mount it inside or out? If you did mount it inside, how?

Yeah I imagine it's possible - but you will have huge cooling issues. The air scoop at the back, in my opinion, wouldn't cut it for proper intake.. I could be wrong and I would love to see it in action.

Why?

Brushless power and LiPo batteries have made the smaller fuelers almost obsolete, especially when you take the noise and mess into consideration.

And like Matt mentioned, cooling and vibration are sure to be a problem.

Just ordered one of these myself, looking for a lot of the same info as Clarence..I look forward to watching your build progess and hope to get mine up and going soon..  :-)
