Pulsedlight "blue label" V2 LIDAR rip off?

Picked up a "blue label" LIDAR from Pulsedlight, thinking that it would now work with Pixhawk without all the bugs. Afterall, it is advertised as "Now broadly compatible with the most basic of I2C drivers and most micro-controller boards.".

Well, I was wrong. This one is completely inert - not a single peep from it.

I'm being told I need to verify my code, as it has been changed. Well, that's a little beyond my level.

Has anyone got the 'blue label" LIDAR working yet? Do the Devs know if there are changes to be made?

  • I did get "blue label" lidar and it does work for me. I am using it on multicopter and the altitude it reports matches with the barometer/GPS altitude. So it seems to be working fine. I am using I2C interface and latest arducopter ( V3.3).
