Hey everyone! This is my QAV-R build. I'm hoping you guys can pick holes in my plan, as im not entirely sure if everything here is compatible. I definitely want to stick to a 6" build, and I want a machine geared towards maximum flight time. I'm hoping to quadruple-stack the ESC, PDB, FC, and barometer (in that order from bottom to top) to keep it nice and clean. The plan is to fly with with a TBS Tango controller, with FrSky XJT 16ch transmitter. Thanks for the feedback, I'm open to any and all suggestions!

Wow - Why you want to spend $114 dollars on a frame which you can get for $17 dollars?

Quad Frame there are thousands of under $20 dollar options on Ebay.

I would go with Pixhawk Mini (I am personally not familiar with the controller you picked). When you need help tons of people can help you. GetFPV is an expensive store for parts.


Your best place to buy parts is going to be Ebay, Banggood, and Hobby King. You can cut your budget down by 50%.

Rest of your design looks good at a higher level.

If Money is not a concern, than check out SCORPION Racing motors each cost anywhere from 100 dollars up to 150 dollars each. Scorpion Motors

You can get 3:1 to 4:1 weight to thrust ratio out of these high performance motors. Just do your math right from the beginning. (Check spec sheet of each motor)
